A charming 19th Century House with 13 delightful cottages situated in a glorious country setting, Anchorage House and Cottages in Hubbards, Nova Scotia, is the perfect place to enjoy a night, a week or even longer.
Relax and enjoy your stay in your own cottage or in one of the comfortable rooms of this historical property, which boasts a private dock overlooking scenic Hubbards Cove. Enjoy watching the many boats that take shelter in our quiet waters or take one of our rowboats and explore the Cove yourself. Walk to Hubbards Beach and awaken your senses to the salt air, the ocean waves and the sand beneath your feet.
An abundance of flowers, trees, shrubbery and grass at Anchorage House creates a wonderful park-like setting around our big century home with its gables and wide wrap around verandah.
The "Anchorage House" features four individual suites, all with private bathrooms, cable television and phones. You can relax in a king suite with a six-foot whirlpool tub, or in a queen suite with a kitchenette and fireplace.
All cottages come with fully-equipped kitchens for those extended stays and one cabin without kitchen facilities. Each cottage has a private deck with BBQ, cable television, and some have new electric fireplaces and/or whirlpool tubs. Outside enjoy a dip in our heated in-ground pool.
With all the amenities and activities Hubbards has to offer, our accommodations are great for family reunions or retreats, and can accommodate up to 70 people.
About a half-hour drive to Halifax, Peggy's Cove or historic Lunenburg, Anchorage House is located at 56 Shore Club Road, off Highway 3 in Hubbards. Take Exit 6 from Highway 103.
