An immaculate property in beautiful St. Margaret’s Bay, Colwell’s By the Sea is the perfect retreat for you to unwind.
Our four personalized waterfront homes offer plenty of serenity and privacy. All come with a fully-equipped kitchen, cable television and DVD. Each has a spacious deck from which you a can enjoy the panoramic ocean view; smell the salt air, watch the surf and take in a gorgeous sunset.
All our accommodations come with a well-stocked mini-library, full of current fiction and non-fictions titles, sure to thrill the avid reader. We also have an in-house library with many more titles. Curl up by your own fireplace or relax on your deck and enjoy that great book.
Outside your accommodations are well-maintained grounds that offer plenty of space for children to enjoy a game of badminton or to catch that great ocean breeze for kite flying. In addition to enjoying one of our many sand beaches, there are hiking, biking, kayaking and boating adventures nearby.
For an exciting day trip, we are conveniently located between picturesque Peggy’s Cove and the wonderful coastal communities of Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Just a little more than a half hour drive to Metropolitan Halifax, you can tour the city by day and retreat in the evening to your oceanfront abode.
We can arrange for meals to be prepared and waiting for you upon your arrival, or at other times upon request.
Colwell’s By the Sea is located on Highway 3 in Queensland, across from Whynacht’s Beach, just a few kilometres east of Exit 6.
