World Class Limousines

A great way to relax and learn about the local history of the area is to take a guided driving tour. World Class Limousines of Halifax offers driving tours of the Aspotogan Peninsula, which typically last four to five hours. The company can accommodate just a few individuals in a private executive sedan or small groups in one of its comfortable vans or mini-buses.

Tours starts at Exit 7 in East River and explore some of the area's fascinating people and places. From quaint fishing villages to sand beaches and bits of more rugged coastline, you will experience the full beauty of the Ten Beaches area. The tour guides you through the history of the Blandford Game Sanctuary and the destruction caused by Hurricane Juan. You will visit a wide-range of landmarks, from local fish shacks to a small castle. And, you'll travel to the area's former whaling station and to sites chosen for well-known motion pictures.

Both Blandford and Cleveland Beach were locations for scenes in The Shipping News, starring Kevin Spacey, while Hubbards Cove was the main backdrop for the popular CBC television series Black Harbour.

After leaving the peninsula, you will tour along Highway 3, back to the city, passing several beaches, including Queensland, along the way.
