Wine Tours, Annapolis Valley
Nova Scotia is home to some of the Maritime's finest vineyards. You can enjoy sampling a few of these great wines at the Grand Pre Wines tour. Just a 45-minute drive through our woodlands takes you to Grand Pre, a village rich in Acadian history. Grand Pre Wines holds three outdoor vineyard tours a day from May through October. Tours begin at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and last about 45 minutes. During your tour you can taste about five to seven different wines, from traditional red to white wines to other fruit flavors.
A number of the company's award-winning wines are made from fresh fruit picked locally in the region's Annapolis Valley. Some of the tasty fruit flavored wines include peach, blueberry and apple. Grand Pre Wines also produces a maple flavored wine.
